MakeMyPic
What it is
AI headshots for LinkedIn, tuned for Indian faces. Upload a few selfies and get professional photos back.
Why I built it
Most AI headshot tools didn't get Indian faces right. The skin tone and the features looked off. I thought I could do better.
What happened
I planned it in a few days, built the landing page with Indian pricing and set up a big codebase. Then I looked at the market properly. There were already too many headshot apps.
What I learned
Crowded market. Moved on fast. I also set up far too much code before I knew if anyone would pay.
